Be thankful always.

Since its thanks giving, I thought I'd take time to tell you all what I'm thankful for.

You're going to have times in your life when you feel like everything is falling apart and lately, that's been my life but what's important is remembering what truly matters, what you are truly thankful for.
I am thankful that my mom brought me into this world for me to find my purpose. I am thankful for Donna who helped raise me my whole life and continued to mold me into who I am today after she moved away. I truly believe I found my purpose and that's to be a mother.
I am thankful for my husband's ex wife Danielle for allowing me to be apart of their son, Dominick's life as his step mom. He is the reason I learned how to be a mom in the first place. He gave me knowledge on how to deal with teenagers before my daughter becomes one. He was the first one to show me what love from a child feels like. Thank you Danielle for continuing to let me be his mom too.

I am thankful for Stephanie, the mother of my step daughter, Lanaia. She allowed me to feel the love and excitement of being able to help raise a girl and do girly things with.
You two women allowed me to be apart of your children's lives which taught me how to be a mom way before I had my baby. I couldn't be more grateful to you two.
I am thankful for my husband for giving me my baby girl and for making me a mom. I am thankful for the patience I learned from all three of my kids. I learned how to have patience when doing homework with my teenage step son. I learned what true love is from a child when my 4 year old step daughter throws a fit but still tells me she loves and misses me. I learned how to truly love and what love is by giving birth to my daughter. I am truly thankful for all of this.
I am also truly thankful to my best friend, Cassie for coming here to help me be a mom and help take care of my daughter. She has helped me out more than anyone ever has with my daughter. I am thankful for her as a person and the beautiful kind heart that she has.
I know my situation isn't an ideal one but I wouldn't change it. I have 3 kids that I get the privilege of parenting and the way I think of it is, a ton of family to love each other.
Remember what truly matters. Always be thankful for what you have and don't dwell on what you don't have.

Married To A Mechanic: 8 things to expect. 🔧

Since I've started blogging, I've only blogged about my husband personally like once or twice, so this is dedicated to my mechanic husband. Erich has been working on cars since he was about 14 years old, so 20 years. He does it for a living but on diesels. He does it in hi spare time as well so basically, all the freaking time. Here's what to expect if you date a mechanic. Car Talk Mechanics talk about cars like 24/7; Parts, make and model, they even try to explain to you how certain parts work. If you tell them you don't understand, they will explain again, in depth with more detail, which is even more confusing. Either go on Google and learn a little bit or pretend you understand what they are talking about. Oil & Grease White anything is against any mechanics beliefs. I have to clean the walls, counters, appliances, PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING at minimum of 3 times a week. They are usually covered from head to toe in oil and grease. Honestly, I thin...

Spring Time Means Allergies!

Sprint time is the worst season for me. I hate this season honestly. My allergies are horrible during spring, like when I say horrible, I mean face swollen, constant nose blowing. The whole awful nine yards. Just the other day, I swear I sneezed about a million and one times and then lost my voice. We just moved into a house that had ben vacant for two months before we moved in, so there was two months of dust accumulated on the floors and walls. Needless to say, my first day in our new house consisted of a lot of sneezing and wheezing. Since spring is just around the corner and that means so are allergies, I made a list of home remedies for allergy relief that has really helped me and hopefully will help you too. Honey Local raw honey, it builds your immune system up to what's around you. You can get this at places like Whole Foods. Make sure it is local honey though.
