What it's like to interview my best friend.

I thought it would be a fun idea to interview my best friend, Katherine.

Here is the interview:

1. What do you consider us?
-We are the absolute bestest best best friends ever because we are so close and have known each other for a very long time.
I love her exaggeration.

2.What do you love most about me?
-That you have stuck by my side for so long after everything we've been through. You always answer the phone when I call no matter what time it is. We also understand each other.

3. What do you think I love most about you?
-Hmmm, that's a good question... That I'm awesome..? That I would do absolutely anything for you, even bury a dead mans body.

4. What is the best part about being friends with me?
-Weather we fight or laugh, we will never judge each other but, we will laugh each other!

5. What is the worst part about being friends with me?
-Being so far from each other.
Ugh this does suck.

6. Do you see us being friends forever?
-UH YEAH!

7. What kind of friends do you think we'll be when we're 80 years old?
-The kind that presses their life alert buttons together so we can see the sexy firemen.

8. What bugs you most about me?
-Your horrible taste in men...

9. What is my natural hair color?
-Dirty blonde.

10. When is my birthday?
*Clears throat*... November 8th! Me- No... Wait, what?! The 18th...? Me- nope.. wow. The 16th??? Me- HAHA NO! I'm a little offended that you don't know my birthday Katherine. OH, it's the 19th!! Me- YES!

11. What is my biggest pet peeve?
-Things being dirty.

12. What is one of my biggest fears?
-Spiders? Oh wait, that's mine! Clowns?

13. If we were to win a million dollars, what would we do together?
-Go see men strip....and pay off our bills.
Me- We can have fun but still gotta be adults.

14. Have you ever even read any of my blogs?
-Uh, I don't remember... I think so.
Me- Wow...

There you have it. A very random yet, hilarious interview. I will never let her live down the fact that she doesn't know my birthday. For some reason, most people always mess up the day part of my birthday. I don't know why, maybe because the 19th is random...?

Katherine and I have been friends since we were 7 years old. We met in church right after she moved to Henderson and we hit it off instantly. We literally did everything together. If I wasn't at her house, she was at mine. All of that changed when she moved away when were 13. Thanks a lot Katherine's Mom!
Distance didn't change our friendship though. Even though she's been gone for 11 years, (With multiple visits of course) our friendship has stayed just as strong as it was when we were 13.
Katherine is one of those friends that you can go months without talking to but then talk again like you've never stopped. Being married with kids will sometimes will cause us to go a while without talking. Even when this does happen, we both know that we'll be there for each other whenever we need one another, and there have been many times where we have needed each other.

Katherine, I am so happy that you are a part of my life. Thank you for never leaving my side. Thank you for always knowing what to say to make me laugh and feel better. I couldn't imagine my life without you in it.
Thank you for being being exactly who you are and for being my best friend!

Friends till the wrinkle years.

Married To A Mechanic: 8 things to expect. 🔧

Since I've started blogging, I've only blogged about my husband personally like once or twice, so this is dedicated to my mechanic husband. Erich has been working on cars since he was about 14 years old, so 20 years. He does it for a living but on diesels. He does it in hi spare time as well so basically, all the freaking time. Here's what to expect if you date a mechanic. Car Talk Mechanics talk about cars like 24/7; Parts, make and model, they even try to explain to you how certain parts work. If you tell them you don't understand, they will explain again, in depth with more detail, which is even more confusing. Either go on Google and learn a little bit or pretend you understand what they are talking about. Oil & Grease White anything is against any mechanics beliefs. I have to clean the walls, counters, appliances, PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING at minimum of 3 times a week. They are usually covered from head to toe in oil and grease. Honestly, I thin...

Spring Time Means Allergies!

Sprint time is the worst season for me. I hate this season honestly. My allergies are horrible during spring, like when I say horrible, I mean face swollen, constant nose blowing. The whole awful nine yards. Just the other day, I swear I sneezed about a million and one times and then lost my voice. We just moved into a house that had ben vacant for two months before we moved in, so there was two months of dust accumulated on the floors and walls. Needless to say, my first day in our new house consisted of a lot of sneezing and wheezing. Since spring is just around the corner and that means so are allergies, I made a list of home remedies for allergy relief that has really helped me and hopefully will help you too. Honey Local raw honey, it builds your immune system up to what's around you. You can get this at places like Whole Foods. Make sure it is local honey though.
