Let's interview the husband shall we?

So I decided to change things up a bit and do something different. I decided to interview my husband because it sounded fun.

Me: Hey babe, can I interview you?

Erich: Interview me? for what? and why?

Me: For my blog. It'll be fun I promise.

Erich: Uh okay sure.

Me: What is the best part about being married to me?

Erich: ...uhhh... The companionship that we have. That's the best part.

Me: What is the worst part about being married to me?

Erich: Umm *Repeats question to himself* I can't go golfing whenever I want.

Me: What is my most annoying habit?

Erich: Uh....... What's the question again?

Me: *Repeats question*

Erich: Your Cup OCD.

[ He likes to take my cups to work and never brings them back. ]

Me: What is my most endearing habit?

Erich: What does that mean?

Me: *Explains definition of endearing*

Erich: *Laughs* Your cleaning OCD.

Me: What do you admire most about me?

Erich: The fact that you are extremely family oriented.

Me: What was the first thing that attracted you to me?

Erich: The fact that you were so slim and had nice size boobs.

Me: Wow babe.

Erich: Well, that was the first thing I noticed. You have a cute face too.

Me: *Dying laughing*

Me: What do you enjoy most about being a dad?

Erich: The love I get from my children.

Me: What do you enjoy least about being a dad?

Erich: *Laughs*... Can't golf whenever I want.

Me: What do you miss doing with me before we had kids?

Erich: Our Staycations.

Me: What is your most hated household chore?

Erich: DISHES!!!

[Maybe it's because he sucks at doing dishes.]

Me: What is your favorite thing to cook?

Erich: Thanksgiving turkey dinner.

Me: What do you think annoys me most about you?

Erich: When I rub my feet together.

Me: You're right, that annoys me.

Me: What do you think I love most about you?

Erich: ... My smile...?

Me: Are you answering my question with a question?

Erich: No. My smile.
I do love his smile.

Me: Why do you think I'm lucky to be married to you?

Erich: Because I'm a good husband.

Me: That's it?

Erich: Yup, I'm a good husband.

Me: What do you think is the secret to a happy marriage?

Erich: Communication.

Me: Do you think we are a strong couple? Why?

Erich: Yes, because we mesh together well.

Me: So, we complement each other you're saying?

Erich: *Nods head* Pretty much, yeah.

Me: What is a piece of advice you'd give to a newlywed couple?

Erich: Never forget to say I love you to each other. You never know what is going to happen.

(This man never ceases to surprise me. Honestly, I thought he was going to answer with smart ass answers. Good job baby! )

Me: Now wasn't that kind of fun?

Erich: Yeah it kind of was. *Cheesy smile*

I am so happy he supports my blogging and is willing to participate in it. He's a good man that I am lucky to have.

Married To A Mechanic: 8 things to expect. 🔧

Since I've started blogging, I've only blogged about my husband personally like once or twice, so this is dedicated to my mechanic husband. Erich has been working on cars since he was about 14 years old, so 20 years. He does it for a living but on diesels. He does it in hi spare time as well so basically, all the freaking time. Here's what to expect if you date a mechanic. Car Talk Mechanics talk about cars like 24/7; Parts, make and model, they even try to explain to you how certain parts work. If you tell them you don't understand, they will explain again, in depth with more detail, which is even more confusing. Either go on Google and learn a little bit or pretend you understand what they are talking about. Oil & Grease White anything is against any mechanics beliefs. I have to clean the walls, counters, appliances, PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING at minimum of 3 times a week. They are usually covered from head to toe in oil and grease. Honestly, I thin...

Spring Time Means Allergies!

Sprint time is the worst season for me. I hate this season honestly. My allergies are horrible during spring, like when I say horrible, I mean face swollen, constant nose blowing. The whole awful nine yards. Just the other day, I swear I sneezed about a million and one times and then lost my voice. We just moved into a house that had ben vacant for two months before we moved in, so there was two months of dust accumulated on the floors and walls. Needless to say, my first day in our new house consisted of a lot of sneezing and wheezing. Since spring is just around the corner and that means so are allergies, I made a list of home remedies for allergy relief that has really helped me and hopefully will help you too.
